Attack of the Clones, Revenge of the Sith 3D release dates

In February of this year, Lucasfilm released Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace in 3D.  I went to see it, after all it is Star Wars on the big screen again.  I left profoundly disappointed, and not by the quality of the film.  The conversion was terrible and I never even saw the need to wear the glasses.

Well, according to the Star Wars Facebook page, the release dates of the next two films in the saga will be released back to back.  This is how the post reads:

Breaking news from #StarWarsCVI: Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith to be theatrically released in 3D back-to-back, September 20, 2013 and October 11, 2013 respectively.

So, there you have it.  There has been word leaking out of Star Wars Celebration VI that the conversion for at least Attack of the Clones is much better.  Here’s hoping.  Sadly, Lucas will get my money again next year.  Well, I can’t say sadly.  It is always great to see Star Wars on the big screen!
