One of my favorite films of all time is Michael Mann’s The Last of the Mohicans. That is where I learned of Russell Means, and it is something of a shame he wasn’t in more films. He was great as Chingachgook, the adoptive father of Daniel Day-Lewis’ character, Hawkeye. He will be missed.
