In Memoriam: Richard Matheson

Died June 23, 2013.

Richard Matheson, celebrated author and screenwriter, has passed away at the age of 87 at his home in Los Angeles, California.  Best known for his story I Am Legend, which has been turned into no less than three feature films (The Last Man on Earth, Omega Man, I Am Legend), he was also the author and screenwriter of Duel, which a young Steven Spielberg directed.

His works have been translated into an amazing variety of film and television shows.  I will list a few of the most notable below, but I would recommend heading to to view the his entire repertiore.
