Schmoes Know is reporting that Norman Reedus (The Walking Dead, The Boondock Saints) is up for a major role in The Crow reboot. According to their report, Reedus is up for the role of James. Who is James? Well, that we do not know as of yet. What we do know is that he is NOT going to be playing Eric Draven, as that role already belongs to Luke Evans (Immortals, The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug). They also report that there should be an announcement coming very soon.
It is also worth mentioning that the role of Shelley was being considered for the charisma-less Kristen Stewart. She is no longer in consideration due to ‘audience concern’. What does that mean? Well, it means that if she was in the film, people would stay away. If only we could get the same audience concerns for Channing Tatum in anything . . .
NOTE: There have been people reporting that Luke Evans is out and that Reedus is up for the role of The Crow. These articles are based off of Schmoes Know’s article. Clearly, though, they did not read the article, even though they link to it. As far as we know, Evans is still in for the Draven role. Reedus is NOT up for the role of Draven. Of course, until this actually starts filming everything can change. More updates as they are available.
