Take a good, long look at that image above. That is the next five years of your life.
At a secret event, Marvel announced it’s plans for Phase 3 of it’s Cinematic Universe. While a couple of the films we knew about, like Captain America: Civil War, Doctor Strange, and Guardians of the Galaxy 2, there are a couple out of let field. Inhumans had been rumored, but that’s all it had been. Rumors and whispers and nothing concrete. It was assumed that Thor would get another film, but it is now confirmed as Thor: Ragnarok. Black Panther had been rumored as well, and is now confirmed. What is a little surprising is Captain Marvel, which is rumored to follow the Carol Danvers character, so we will finally be getting a female superhero in her own solo film. Also surprising is Avengers: Infinity War Part 1 AND Part 2!! Hells, yes!
Also, Chadwick Boseman (42, Get on Up) has been announced as the actor that will portray the king of fictional African nation Wakanda, better known as Black Panther.
Ant-Man will be the final film in Marvel’s Phase 2.
If you have issues seeing the above photo, here are the films and release dates Marvel announced:

Also, despite the rumors, Benedict Cumberbatch was NOT announced as Doctor Strange. So is he or isn’t he playing the character? We still don’t know for certain. Until Marvel makes an announcement, just consider these casting rumors as nothing more than that, rumor.
